Welcome to part 3! They will laugh at you if you can’t even answer all these tricky IQ questions. Let’s continue to the mathematical IQ questions part 3.
Computational ability can further stimulate thinking flexibility and jumping. The exercises in this chapter are in the previous chapter on the basis of the understanding of the number concept, the improvement will further improve the accuracy of the calculation, so as to continuously improve the thinking level of analysis, comparison, abstraction, generalization, and reasoning. These thinking skills can in turn promote the number concept and calculation ability.

21. Organize Tables and Long Chairs
A school selected student representatives from all students to participate in a poll meeting, and due to the large number of people, they used a combination of tables and chairs. Four people sit on a chair, three people use a table, and 144 representatives are just full. So total how many tables and chairs are there to fit them?
22. A Cute Rope
There is a cute rope, the first time we cut it half + one meter additionally, the second time we cut it half +minus one meter, and finally there is 3 meters left. So how long is this rope originally?
23. Unknown Books and Students Count
The new semester started, and the teacher bought a lot of extracurricular books for the students. According to the number of students, if there are 7 books per person, 6 books will be extra. If there are 8 books per person, 8 books will be lacked. So do you know how many students are in this class? How many extracurricular books did the teacher bought in total?
24. Horror Cinema Seats
On weekends, a few children met together to watch “Zootopia” movie in the cinema. This children’s theater has 25 rows of seats. Counting from the last row, the number of seats in each row will be 2 seats lesser than previous row. The last row has 68 seats. How many seats are there in the middle row of the theater? How many seats are there in the theater?
25. Trump House Number
Trump’s family lives in a small alley, and the house numbers of each house are consecutive from number 1 (eg. 1, 2, 3…). The sum of the house numbers of all the houses in the whole street minus the Trump’s house number is 70. So what is the house number of Trump?
26. Male vs Female
In order to better green the campus, teacher lead the students to plant 101 trees. The teacher planted one tree first, and then said to the class: “male students each plant 3 trees, and female students plant 1 tree together.” This just finished planting the remaining saplings. Ask how many boys and girls are there among the students led by the teacher?
27. The Magician Balls
It’s vacation, a few good friends meet up to watch a magic show. When the performance began, the magician first showed the audience there are 3 balls in the box. The magician took out 1 ball from the box for the first time, turned it into 3 balls, and then put them all in the box; the second time, he took out 2 balls from the box and put each ball out of the box. It became 3 balls, and then he put them in the box; and so on, until the 10th time the last time, he took out 10 balls from the box, and turned each ball into 3 balls, and then put it all in the box again. So how many balls are there in the box at this time?
28. Bitcoin for Gloves, Socks and Hat
Buy 1 pair of gloves, 2 pairs of socks, and 3 hats for a total of 65 BTC; buy 2 pairs of gloves, 3 pairs of socks, and 4 hats for a total of 100 BTC; buy 3 pairs of gloves, 4 pairs of socks, and 6 hats for a total of 145 BTC. So do you know how much BTC you need to pay for 1 pair of gloves, 1 pair of socks, and 1 hat?
29. Weight of Sand and Cement
Sandy is trying to build a new small flower bed and bought some sand and cement. In the morning, 2 bags of sand and 3 bags of cement are delivered, totaling 275 kg; in the afternoon, 5 bags of sand and 4 bags of cement are delivered, totaling 600 kg. Can you calculate the weight of 1 bag of sand and 1 bag of cement?
30. Teacher’s Day flowers
Teacher’s Day is coming. Teddy and Christine are planning to buy flowers for their teacher. They first bought 1 bunch of flowers and Teddy then buy another 5 bunches of flowers. The ratio of flowers bought by two people is 7:8; If Teddy buy 9 bunches more of flowers and Christine throw away 4 bunches of flowers, then the ratio of the number of flowers bought by two people is 3:2, then how many bunches of flowers did they bought?
