Are you guys same like me waiting to travel again? After the corona virus (Covid-19) epidemic is over, let’s travel with her/him and leave some romantic and happy memories on the mountains, rivers, lakes, seas and cities within the great mainland China. Let me introduce the best 10 China domestic travel places to visit that best for couples.

1. Xinjiang (新疆)

The first location must be Xinjiang because its have a lot of beautiful natural scenes just like the scenes in the movie, many cool background wallpapers are waiting for you to shoot, even you can feel the vastness of the Chinese’s motherland. Do not forget to try out this famous and delicious local food Xinjiang Mutton Plate Chicken with fruits.

2. Sanya (三亚)

The most southern tourist spot in China, this city is located in the Hainan Island. If you love sea and beach, you must visit this one of the most romantic seaside attraction, anyway best for couples. You must visit Yalong Bay or you may go for Kite-surfing, diving, golfing, amusement park, spa, hot spring, rain forest rafting and many other cool activities are waiting for you to find out.

3. Inner Mongolia (内蒙古)

The first impression of Inner Mongolia could be an endless steppe, in fact there is not only grassland. There are many different landscapes throughout the year. It is a very nice destination for awesome scene photo shooting no matter in summer, autumn, spring or winter season. The golden fields surrounded by breath of harvest in autumn; Snow white winter time that can be compared with Hokkaido; Amazing soft sand within the endless and spectacular desert scenery in summer; endless beautiful green land everywhere in spring. Oh ya their lamb cuisine is very delicious!

You may visit Shangri-La (the Lost Paradise), Lijiang Ancient Town, Kunming Spring City, Yuanyang to see rice terraces on hillside, Luoping to see the sea of rapeseed blossom, Tiger Leaping Gorge, Blue Moon valley, snow mountain, Sumtsaling Monastery and more!

Welcome to the home of the panda! The capital of the Shu Kingdom in the Three Kingdoms era. If you are a foodies, how can you missed Chengdu? Walk and eat through streets and alleys, explore the Chengdu cuisine. One food you must try and highly recommended: Spicy hot pot, if this is your first time to eat spicy hot pot, please beware because it is a very spicy but taste good. After few times, you will totally get addicted, just like me…Do not forget to see pandas at Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (熊猫基地).

7. Guangzhou (广州)

This is another great destination you must visit when travel to China. You must visit Guangzhou many times to try out their yummy local Chinese foods because there is many different kind of delicious Chinese Cantonese cuisine are waiting for you to taste them, I think there is more than thousand types of Cantonese cuisine, dessert, soup and beverage available in Guangzhou. 8. Chongqing (重庆)

The origin of Chinese spicy hot pot (重庆麻辣火锅). It is one of the huge city in China and having a huge list of travel attractions. Hongyadong commercial street, Ciqikou Ancient Town, Jiefangbei street, Yangtze River Cable-way, Nanshan Tree Viewing, Dream Ordovician theme park, Twin River Bridges, Crown Escalator and more.

9. Xiamen (厦门)

A very small seaside city located at opposite of Taiwan island, same size like Singapore. There are not only numerous of small and refreshing coffee shops, but also have quaint old streets. Let’s ride along the road around the island to enjoy the scenery, sit quietly by the seaside and wait for the sunset…You should visit the cat street and the small cable car in the city, and There are various delivious foods on the street, try explore them and tell me what you got!

10. Beijing (北京)

The final romantic destination you must visit in China is the capital of China — Beijing. There are many thousand years of historical interest are definitely worth to visit and study especially the Forbidden city (The imperial palace since 1368). This place was lived by 24 Kings and built with 9999.5 palace rooms. You must visit these Majestic ancient city if you planning to travel to China, you won’t regret to this visit.
